Shop Policies


Welcome to MadeByMardi!

I find that there is always a need for something new for a baby or friend and I am happy to present the unique gift ideas on this site to you. We love fabric and embroidery of all types.  As I expanded my embroidery projects to gifts for friends and friends-of-friends, I was encouraged by new ideas and inspired to start selling some items. MadeByMardi is a family owned business. Mardi and Margaret make up the team at MadeByMardi. Together we strive to present special personalized gifts and professional service.


Payment: Paypal is the best way to pay us. Through Paypal you can pay through check, credit or debit card. Checks must go through the Paypal system. Your items are shipped when payment is received. (Other arrangements may be possible, email me for specific situations.)


Terms: If payment or sufficient contact about payment is not received within 2 days of making an order, the order will be cancelled. You will receive an email notification and if we do not hear from you we will cancel the sale. If, however, you fall in love with something but need a few days to make the purchase, we can reserve it for up to 7 days from the request date.


USPS is our standard method of shipping. Larger purchases will go by FedEx. We aim for the least expensive option for our buyers. If you desire another form of shipping, you must specify this at the time of purchase so that the overall cost can be adjusted accordingly. We are not responsible for items lost during the shipping process. Shipping includes basic insurance and items must generally be signed for. You must notify us if you do not desire insurance and/or delivery confirmation. In the even that either of these options is waived, the buyer accepts all responsibility for lost items. Minimum shipping $3.00 USD + postage based on weight.


Orders are normally shipped within two weeks of order. All products are custom made to order. Rush orders are possible.

Refunds and Exchanges

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If there is an error we will make it right. If your are not satisfied with a product, upon return we will cheerfully refund the purchase price (excluding postage and handling). If an item is defective or unsatisfactory, a resolution (exchange/refund) can be made within 5 business days of delivery.
